May has been a great month at the clubhouse!
We had very excited kids working on our Mother’s Day projects. Each kid confided that it was the only gift they had for mom but what a great job they all did. We made a jewelry box and necklace for each mom. The kids were thrilled to combine it with our other donations as they were able to wrap a special gift for mom and add it to a Mother’s Day book, bath soap, lotion and a card. I don’t think I’ve seen our boys so excited since Christmas!
We also took on the challenge of creating our own special place in the world this month. Kids painted a small house, then worked on a landscaping project to add thier house to. It was amazing to see the variety of wonderful creations our kids came up with as we talked about what would make “our world” more special.
We are having great reports from the kids this month too — Lot’s of good things happening at home for many of the kids recently. Thanks for all your prayers of support!

We’ve had a wonderful time with our Spring Celebration!
Here you can see as we are planting in balloons. We can’t wait to see how they turn out as our plants begin to grow.

March Club Dates are the 14th & 28th
The 14th we will be making Moon Mud while talking about dicovering ways to build our dreams. Also, as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we will be making 4-Leaf Clovers for Dad so we can share some of our wishes with him too.

The 28th we will hold our Easter Celebration. We plan to paint a spring picture for Dad and Dye Eggs. We will finish off our celebration with an Egg Hunt that will include candy and prizes for all in attendance.

A month to focus on Love and Relationships.
Our Valentine’s Day celebration plans included making cards for Dad, creating a heart wreath to share with someone special and decorating cookies to enjoy.

January was a great kick off to our 4th year. Our activities included Origami, building 3-D Dragon and Dinosaur Puzzles, Bubble Art, Bubble Gum Blowing Contest and our Birthday Party. We were able to discuss Acts of Kindness, Characteristics that are appearing on the “Extinct” list, and How to make big wishes.

We have just kicked off our 4th year at Dream Loud!
We are so excited about the lives we are impacting at our Lansing Club House. The children come to have a great time and leave encouraged with new ideas, skills and greater vision for the life they can create. I look forward to sharing with you the fun things we get to do and all the exciting things we are accomplishing at the Dream Loud Clubhouse!
